Term Two Reflection

Reading:

This term for reading I have learnt to show my learning

in a different way and searching for clues or find it in the book.

I have done well in reading because I show that I can do well

in my working and answering the questions more better and finish off

comprehension and any work. I have not done so well in reading

because I don’t forces enough and don’t ignore the people around

me. To improve myself I need to work hard and don’t rush and finish

off my work properly.Next time I will improve myself to get better and

forces.



Writing:

This term for writing I have learnt that we can use

punctuation and simple sentences.This term I have

done well in writing because I have use lot of detail

in it. I haven’t done well in writing because I have done

a few mistakes. Next time I will improve myself and write

more.


Maths:

For maths I have learnt my base facts and timetables.

I have done well doing my strategies, (decades, tidy ten’s,

comparisons and practice sheet.)I haven’t done so well in my

knowledge.Next time I need to improve myself and force

on my knowledge.

Multimedia/ICT:


On multimedia I am doing my time lapse movie of a famous person.

I have done well on multimedia this term because I went carefully tracing

it.I haven’t done so well on Multimedia because I done some mistakes.

Next time I will improve and not make mistakes and do it carefully.

Art Gallery

PES Gallery of Fine Arts

On an lovely day Miss Ouano told us that we were going to Art Gallery I was shocked beacause I never been there before. When I entered it I could see pitures all over the place, it was like colourful world. In the art gallery I saw room 15's pictures. The one that I saw that was cool in room 15's, her one was a flower and these bubbles around it. When I saw it was all ready sold. Then we went on top of the stage and I saw our pictures.  I saw this cool as one and it had fruit around it and it was cool. I looked the projector and I saw the of that picture and name was haw-aka because it had lot's of detail. The best part I liked was got to look everywhere.

Youth Town

On Wednesday 14 of June room fourteen and room seventeen went to the youth town workshop. First we went to the hall to wait for room seventeen to come then we had a chance to go to the to bathroom then we came back and the teachers told us some rules before we left.

Then we went on the bus and waited to hop off we couldn't wait. I was so excited we also sang some songs and waved at people it was also was noisy it was so noisy I couldn't hear I thing my friend was saying. When we got there we got out and went to the crossing when the red light went we quickly crossed the road. When we got to the other side we walked in a line all the way into the room then we sat in our lines and waited then Sue and Georgia came and told room 14 come next door and sit down on a chair and put our aprons on and waited for instructions.

Then Sue and Georgia and told us to draw a pattern and when we were finished we got some clay and and made a square shape then drew our pattern on it and then get some more clay and cover the edges when that's done we go over to Georgia and put some coloured glass and put it on the clay then cook them when we were finished we cleaned the tables and sit down then went back to the room and had morning tea then got ready to go to the pools so we changed then we lined up and walked to the pools then one by one we went in the pool it so warm just wanted to stay in there then about 20 minutes we hopped out and got changed and went the bus and went back to school and had lunch. - Emmy you need to fix up this paragraph and put it into sentences! Use FULLSTOPS and COMMAS.

The best part I enjoyed was going to the pools.

PEPA

Yesterday morning I woke up and got ready for school when I was ready I walked to school then I remember I had to go to dress rehearsal for PEPA tonight I couldn’t wait I was excited
so I went quickly as I could to get changed so we predicted then went back class when it was morning tea time so we had lunch then came back to the hall after lunch and got ready to performing in front of the school.



Then we got changed and went home and had dinner then came back at 5.00 o'clock and got     ready at 6.00 o'clock and performed at 7.00 o’clock then we performed for the parents then we got and put our warm clothes and went home and had saper. The best part Ilike was when the tamitik college boys were dancing.

Your Task: To paint your photo using the colours you have chosen. Use your final draft to help you figure out what four colours you need for your backgrounds.

1.How do you feel about the work you did. Why?
I felt happy because I used bold colours.


2. What did you feel that you did well. Why?
 I done a good job because I mixed the water and the paint together so I could paint.


3.What did you feel that you did not so well.Why?
I felt bad because I done the wrong colours.

What would you do differently next time? Why?
Next time I will improve and not rush my work.

Andy Warhol’s Biography

Andy Warhol was an American artist. He was known for his creative and colourful pop art prints. Some examples of his famous art include: Marilyn 1967 and Mao 1972.

Andy Warhol was born on August 6th 1928, he was born in Pittsburgh, pennsylvania, USA, Andy’s real name was Andrew warhola, Warhol’s parents came from Slovakia, when Andy was sick he had chorea disease when he was 8, every time andy finished a single page in his colouring book his mom gives him a chocolate bar.
Andy went to Schenley high school, He did not have many friends because he was quiet, and had shockingly pale skin and white-blonde hair. He loved to go to movies and started a collection of celebrity autographed photos.Warhol graduated from high school and then went to Carnegie Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 1949 with a major in pictorial design.


During the 1960s, Warhol began creating the paintings he is best known for today.
Warhol painted large pictures of supermarket products and celebrities.
Warhol found “The Factory” which was his studio.
At the Factory, he was always around people. Some of these people were in films that he made, some were writers or artists, some were celebrities.



He was 58 years old, he died in 1987 after a Gallbladder operation.

Hi my name is Emmanuelle and I am writing about a short film review. this film is called partly cloudy, the main characters are the clouds and the storks, this film is made by pixar and directed by peter sohn. All clouds make gorgeous puppies and kittens, then the  goofy storks come and give the things to the people, all the clouds are helpful and make the good things but there is one cloud that make thing that hurt you like  snappy crocodiles, spike hedgehog and  bulls. One stork was gus’s friend called peck the  peck came back with spikes on his head gus made a shark and  peck moved and flew up to the other cloud gus got furious and tuned and started to cry then peck came came down with bag and open it and it was armor to protect him. I recommend this film because it is funny and I think the main message of this movie is about friendship.

Your Task: To complete a draft for our Pop Art. You must make sure you count all the colours you need and plan what colours you are going to invert before you colour. We need to make a draft so that we know exactly what colours we use when we start our screen printing.

How do you feel about the work you did?

I felt disappointed because I did something wrong.

What did you do Good?

In my picture I changed my backgrounds to make it look good.

What did you do Bad?

In my picture I coloured in my nose and I didn’t like it.

What would you do differently next time?

Next time I will do something more better.
