    Caring for Baby Birds

• If you find a baby bird on the ground, look for its nest and put the bird back into it.If the mother bird hasn’t come back after two hours, she isn’t going to return.
• Pick the bird up with a tea towel, covering its eyes to keep it calm. Place it in a small box that has rags or a towel at the bottom. Cover the box with a towel to keep the bird warm. You can also put a wheat pack or hot-water bottle under the box to keep it warm.
• You need to feed the baby bird every two hours from dawn till dusk. Use a matchstick to feed it. Put the matchstick by the side of its mouth, not at the front of its beak.
• When the bird is feeding by itself, it's time to let it go. A tame bird won’t last long in the wild, so handle it as little as possible.

Swimming

When room 14 went to the pools we were so ecstatic. First we got changed and had a quick shower then waited by the pool in our groups I was really nervous when I got in the pool.

We got to the pool and rushed to get changed. In my group my buddys are Me , Nikki , Lesieil and Ofa. First we did a warm up to warm are legs and arms, when we got to the other side we waited patiently for the other guys to come.


In my group we are leaning to do brain, goggle, cheek, back stroke, rocket arms and breaststroke and freestyle.

We did the last one before we left. We got out to and had other shower then we went and got changed in the changing room then lined up and got ready to go. I had a marvelous practice, but I will need to improve in swimming next time

Andy Warhol

Did you know Andy Warhol was a famous artist? He loved creating lots of Images. He got shot three times by a mad lady named Valerie Solanas.

He named his style of art pop art. Andy Warhol was born on August 6 1928 in Pittsbrugh, Pennsylvania, USA. He created lots of interesting pictures of Marilyn Monroe and Mohammed Ali.

Andy Warhol’s art is very popular because he used lots of different colours. He is a famous artist and celebrity.

He makes prints by silk screening. Bright colours in he’s pictures stand out, he was the one that inverted colours and he used bold outlines to. Warhol takes pictures of famous celebrities then he screen prints it.

My favourite thing about Andy's art is that he used different colours. Andy Warhol’s pictures look amazing because they stand out in front of the crowd.
