Olympic Flag

Baron de couberlin designed the olympic flag in 1913 and finished it in 1914. 

Did you know that the five parts in the world are joined together to represent the olympic rings? The five continents are put together to make the olympic rings. 

All of the five continents are Africa, America, Australia, Asia and Europe. 

The colours of the olympic rings are blue, black, red, yellow and green with a white background. They are put together and are interlocking. Interlocking is when the rings are joined together.

Equestrian

My event is about Equestrian, the jump competition is a test, it’s a skill to give you more power and speed.

The rider on court is timed as they jump over each fence, some may use parallel rails, triple bars, and other things to. The winner is the rider and horse that finishes with the fewest penalties in the fastest time.
Penalties are awarded for jumps not cleared correctly.

Jumping developed after fences were put up in the English countryside, leading foxhunters to require horses that could jump. In (1510-1558) show jumping was invented in England.

A horse made its first appearance at the Ancient Olympic Games in 680 B.C. when chariot racing was introduced - and was by far the most exciting and spectacular event on the programme.

The bit, blinkers, bridle, cup, fence, gate, hunting stock, obstacle, oxer, parallel oxer, rail and other things

The event is played on a obstacle court. In this event space it must have fance for the horse to jump over.

For your skills you would need to practice.

My Holiday Highlight

In my wonderful holiday I went to the festival in Glen Innes by the library. At the festival there was a free sausage size and hot drinks inside, Mai FM was even there as well they were playing music and there was free bread at the back of the car and prizes for anyone who gets the ball in the hoop. I got ball in and I got stickers and wax.

Then I went to go get a balloon from this girl, I got a butterfly then I went to my mum and showed her and it popped after I was playing with my sister. My mum told me there is face painting by the entry, so I went to go and get my face painted. I got a butterfly then it was time to have lunch so I went up and got a s

sausage and eat it, it was so yummy!

When I was finished I went inside and made things and painted, we could even have one pair of stickers. I went to Mai FM and got free bread, then I came back and sat with my mum and waited for my sisters to come so we could go home.

The best part that I loved was geting my face painted.
